Siemens SL56 review

        A special phone we have experimented is the Siemens SL56, a cell phone that has been created to rival the mobile phone market. Released around 01/4/2003 the SL56 is supporting the networks GSM 850 / 1900. Having a dimension of only 82 x 44 x 22 mm and weighting only 79 g, this item's size will satisfy its most skeptic users. It comes with a 500 mAh Li-Polymer battery, letting a talk time of 3.50 hours and lasts in standby around 175 hours. Its creators incorporated a 1.6 MB memory, just enough a normal use! An attractive option of the Siemens SL56 is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The screen on this cell phone lets setting a wallpaper of 101 x 80 px.

         Siemens has designed its SL56 with a 16 chords capable ringtones, ready for you to add tons of ringers. The gaming system included in the Siemens SL56 runs on J2ME, providing cool games to play with! Not surprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the SL56 offers both services EMS and SMS messaging. Additionally it has MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is very easy to use and Siemens provided a phone book having a contact list capacity of 500.

        The text prediction system is based on the T9 technology, which is very easy to use. This cell phone is using the GPRS (Class 8) technology. The SL56 comes with an infrared port for all your data transfer. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to share data between both systems. We have found the Siemens SL56 to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we greatly encourage it to you!
